Every year, Murdoch University runs the Creative Media and Communications Showcase, and a book is designed, printed and distributed to all attendees. The book is filled with the work of talented students from across the School of Media and Communications. In 2024, the theme was “Continuum,” representing the notion of change over time. Like the exhibition’s brand style, the publication was inspired by Swiss design with bold, continuous blocks of colour and sans-serif typography.

Complete with a gold-ink finish on the cover, each discipline’s section is colour coded with tabs over the page numbers, so attendees could easily find the work they were looking for. QR Codes were added to the chapter pages to take readers to the corresponding pages on the Continuum website.

Discipline symbols were designed by the Branding Team, and I used them to create patterns for each chapter page.
